Episode 194 - The emotional lives of sweaters

In this episode we talk a little bit about what we call "the emotional lives of sweaters." Funny, I know, and it really isn't about the sweaters. It's about us and how we react and feel about them. Some sweaters or knitted accessories and items are loved immediately upon finishing. Some, it might take us a little while, maybe a couple of wearings to come around. Some items never make it onto the "most worn" list. Other items, like baby gifts, might be immediately loved and well-received by the recipients. We try our hardest, but really we never know. What makes some items successful and others not so successful? We start the discussion in this episode, but by no means finish it. There is always more to be said on this topic. Feel free to join in on the discussion in our Ravelry group! And by the way, welcome, we are glad you are here! :)

  1. I would love to know how to take out ribbing as you mention you did for the sweater that was too short. I have a hat that is too big at the ribbing and the rest is fine. I would like to take out a few inches at the bottom and re-knit in a smaller needle size to tighten up the bottom.
