Episode 186 - Stalking Stitches Past

There's a lot going on in this episode as Gayle and I mentally prepare for Stitches West, the large west coast yarn and fiber event, and explore sweaters that we have stalked at Stitches West past and find out if we knit, stalked, or lost interest. Enjoy the episode!

  1. Hi ladies! I made the half-pipe hat by Debbie Stoller. I used a piece of plastic canvas for the brim. I wrapped the piece in a fiber tape to cover the edges. I would imagine you could use a thin piece of foam that shoulder pads and bra pads are made from. I was also thinking that you might also be able to reinforce the brim with some quilt batting. Brimmed hats definitely need some type of reinforcements, though. Just thinking out loud. I enjoyed your episode.
    Be well!!
